This offering is for a large Japanese bronze vessel in a Chinese Ku/Gu archaic style, with a trumpet mouth, and a neck designed with four sections of lotus fronds on a stippled ground divided by reticulated trim. The center section has rounded sections of flowers on a stippled ground divided by reticulated trim. The base has four sections of lotus fronds on a stipple ground divided by a reticulated trim. The vessel measures 12-1/4” H x 9” Diameter (top); 5-3/4” Diameter (bottom), and weighs 9.12 lbs. The overall condition is very good, with the exception of some wear to the patina and some very small dents around the top and bottom (see photos). Age is c. early 1900’s.
