Japanese cloisonné yellow vase, decorated with two-tone pink roses and buds, along with a single royal blue flower and blue bud on the lower right side. It has a variety of light and dark green leaves, and sharp brown thorns on each of the stems. The yellow glaze on the interior of the neck has a thin groove or split which was likely from the initial glazing. The designs are outlined with silver wire. The rims on the top and bottom are silver.
Condition: Looks great, and is in very good condition, with the exception of a fine hairline under the glaze on the right of the flowers and a few miniscule natural pits. The bottom of the vase has some hairlines in the enamel and appears to have been sanded slightly or ground to a dull finish. Marks: No signature or marks.
Date: Early 1900’s.
