| Early Sukhothai pottery covered bowl with a coarse grey-brown, speckled stoneware body, with an underglaze black-brown oxide design. The bowl has alternating decorations of abstract flowers with birds, vertical lines and cross hatching lattice work. The knob on the top of the lid has a pumpkin shape design outlined in a darker brown with a curved stem. See photos for further details. Date: c14th-16th century. Size & Weight: 3-1/4”H x 4-3/4”Diameter; 1.4 lbs. Condition: Excellent condition for age, and has no breaks, cracks or missing pieces, with only an old slight separation on one side.
