| Subject to prior sale. Superb Han Dynasty Amber Glazed Tomb Pottery Ox Period: Han Dynasty, China, 206 BC to 220 AD. Size: This ox is approximately 7.87" in length. Condition: Good,with some original pigments, some color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age. Description: This ox is very beautiful. He is in a recumbent position. He is beautifully glazed in an amber glaze. He is still very detailed. His face and body have very detailed lines to give him a very distinct look. He also looks as if he is sleeping. He is an excellent example of glazed tomb pottery of this time. Buyer may request this item TL tested (thermo luminescence) by Oxford Authentication in England for an additional fee of $450.00 for items in our China distribution point.
