| Magnificent Han Dynasty Green Glazed Tomb Pottery Rooster Period: Han Dynasty, China 206 BC-AD 220. Size: This rooster is approximately 6.29" tall. Condition: Color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age. Description: This rooster is still very detailed considering the age of this piece. His head is still very well defined as is the rest of his body. His facial expression and feathers are very distinct as well. He is standing on his two feet and not on a base. He still has a lot of the green glaze still remaining. He is an excellent example of glazed tomb pottery of this time in history. Buyer may request this item TL tested (thermoluminescence) by Oxford Authentication in England for an additional fee of $450.00 for items in our China distribution point.
