Subject to prior sale. Pair of Exceptional Tang Dynasty Tomb Pottery Lokapala With TL Test Period: Tang Dynasty 618 to 907, China. Size: This wonderful sculpture stands approximately 203/4" and 19" tall. Condition: Very good, no visible repairs, possible professional repairs to the head dress. Description: These are very beautiful pair of guardian statues. Both lokapalas still has a great deal of original pigment remaining and wonderful details to them.The taller lakapala has been TL tested dating it to the Tang period.
