Period: Qi Dynasty, China, 479 to 502.

Size: This horse is approximately 11 1/2" tall.

Condition: Good no visible repairs. Color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age.

Description: This beautiful horse and rider were made of pottery then white painted in beautiful colors. The horse stands on a small rectangular base. This horse and rider are beautifully sculpted and detailed. This rider is very detailed as well. Item Number 6218HB.
