Excellent Pair of 19th Century Foo Lion Roof Tiles Period: 19th century, China. Size: These excellent tiles are approximately 7" tall X 6" wide. The small bases they are sitting on are approximately 3" X 3". Condition: Good,with original pigments, some color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in pieces of this age. Description: This is an excellent pair of brown glazed stone roof tiles. They were used as an architectural element. They have a very nice color. Please note there are small chips on the corners of the tiles.
