Period: Yuan Dynasty, China, AD 1279-1368.

Size: This buffalo is approximately 3 3/4" tall and 5 1/2" at its widest point.

Condition: Color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age.

Description: This is an exceptional Yuan Dynasty buffalo. It is beautifully sculpted with great detail. This is an excellent example of tomb pottery of the Yuan Dynasty in China.
