An Antique Mahogany Casket Shaped Tea Caddy, 19th Century

The rectangular hinged lid centered by a basket issuing flowers and a ring handle sits above a conforming body with tapering sides. The interior is undecorated and lacking the original liner. The front of the box has an inlay diamond shaped escutcheon.
