The famous sculptures produced by Curtis Jere is also the same force behind Matisse enameled jewelry. The three dimensional brooch with a raised copper spiral lies over an enameled maple leaf. The body is delicately incised with veins of a leaf. This delicate detail is in stark contrast to the five rivets that have been applied to the pin to keep it edgy and not old fashioned. The pin is marked on the verso ©Matisse.
