This is a groovy pair of artist made earrings, circa 1980. The mirror image teardrop shapes on each earring are soldered together on the outside edge, leaving a space in the center that gives them an interesting dimension. The outside edge was then granulated by soldering tiny sterling balls all the way around, and a stack of three balls of varying sizes at the bottom. 22ga sterling wire is wrapped around the top of the earring to form an extra long ear wire for pierced ears...

This sweet oval shaped locket is decorated on the front and the back with lovely detailed etchings. There is a piece of domed glass inside the locket on one side. I am assuming that a picture could rest under the glass, however, I was unable to lift the glass to make that happen. Perhaps there is a trick? At any rate, it is a sweet locket! The chain is stamped “10K”.

A simple Art Deco setting surrounds this beautiful jade cabochon gemstone. This ring probably dates back to the early to mid 1920’s. The woman who owned this ring was in her prime in the 1920’s, traveled quite a bit, and amassed quite a collection of artisan made jewelry from that era. There are no markings on the ring, but the base is more than likely sterling silver with a 14K gold vermeil finish.

This is a sweet Victorian-looking ring, probably from the1920’s. The coral colored resin is carved to reveal a profile of a woman with a very elaborate hairstyle, common in the 1920’s. The cameo is surrounded silver metal with a filigree pattern on either side. There are no markings, it is probable that the shank is made from coin silver.

Size: 5 ½

Condition: Good. The ring is a bit out of shape but can easily be reshaped.

It is hard to know exactly what material the carved cabochon is made out of, but it is most likely a resin that is the exact color of a fine Lapis Lazuli gemstone. Probably designed in the 1920’s, this ring has a coy fish and lily flower motif and is prong set in an Art Deco style setting. It is stamped “STERLING”.

Size: 4

Condition: the ring is a little bent so it is not a perfect circle, which is an easy fix.

Because the stone is set in sterling silver, I am assuming it is a man-made citrine, but it sure looks authentic! This ring probably dates back to the 1940’s. It belonged to a woman who was well traveled from the 1940-s through the 70’s, and she collected unusual and beautiful jewelry from all over the world. The design in this ring is very ornate. Flowers and leaves climb up the shank of the ring to form a beautiful prong setting holding the citrine stone...
