This is a stunning example of the Art Deco marcasite jewelry that adorned the sophisticated women of the 1920’s. The dark green chrysophrase stones have a beautiful translucent quality that really stands out next to the oxidized sterling silver and dark gray marcasite gemstones. A simple Art Deco setting surrounds this beautiful jade cabochon gemstone. This ring probably dates back to the early to mid 1920’s. The woman who owned this ring was in her prime in the 1920’s, traveled quite a bit, and amassed quite a collection of artisan made jewelry from that era. There are no markings on the ring, but the base is more than likely sterling silver with a 14K gold vermeil finish.

This is a sweet Victorian-looking ring, probably from the1920’s. The coral colored resin is carved to reveal a profile of a woman with a very elaborate hairstyle, common in the 1920’s. The cameo is surrounded silver metal with a filigree pattern on either side. There are no markings, it is probable that the shank is made from coin silver.

Size: 5 ½

Condition: Good. The ring is a bit out of shape but can easily be reshaped.

It is hard to know exactly what material the carved cabochon is made out of, but it is most likely a resin that is the exact color of a fine Lapis Lazuli gemstone. Probably designed in the 1920’s, this ring has a coy fish and lily flower motif and is prong set in an Art Deco style setting. It is stamped “STERLING”.

Size: 4

Condition: the ring is a little bent so it is not a perfect circle, which is an easy fix.

Very detailed carved leaves climb up the shank of the ring and hover around the bezel set amethyst gemstone. Two little flowers are present at the top and bottom of the oval faceted stone.
