Cast in the form of a barrel the top is designed with a short neck and is flanked by loops for a bamboo or rush styled handle that is no lacking. The body is molded with strap work and is hand decorated on the front with characters and stylized flowers. The front is also designed with a port to place a spicket or cork to release the Saki.

The small vessel with applied spout and corkscrew handle has a soft celadon glaze. This unique little piece is a great accent of a table or shelf. The body is marked on the side near the base with an impressed artist stamp.

The three tapering cylindrical jars of graduating sizes have a flat lid glazed in the same shades of mustard yellow, sky blue and shades of green. The molded jars have a ribbed surface in the middle and at the base. The pieces are unmarked and are probably Japanese circa 1950.
