The charming painting appears not to be signed; however there is a gallery tag on the verso from Frost and Reed that includes artist name and inventory number. The verso also holds the gallery tag for Vixseboxse Gallery.

The shady lane leading through a small village dotted with cottages, people at work and a pair of lazy donkeys is painted in greens, brown, blue and white. The painting is housed in a 20th century frame.
