The globular form with shapely spout and “c” shaped handle is hand decorated in blue with small sprigs of flowers on the lid and free formed bouquets on each side of the body. The underside is marked with hand painted waves followed by and “XK” bellow this is 10 over 1788. Additionally, there is a printed round factory mark. The painted wave mark has a pair scratches, this may indicate the piece was considered as a second at the factory.
