A Silver Plated Coffee Pot, Bancroft, Redfield & Rice New York, 19th Century

The Victorian silver plated coffee pot has a hinged lid centered by a large floral knop. The pronounced rim of foliage and flowers sits over a pear shaped body with large reserves framed by C scrolls, flowers foliage and diapering pattern. The body is also flanked by an exaggerated handle with flowers and a spout headed with a wild rose motif. The small round base trimmed in flowers is marked on the verso with a round plaque with company name.

Size: 11 high

Condition: Excellent, expected but slight wear to include monogram (MR)
