| Vintage Chanel drop necklace in finely worked goldtone metal in the style of the Roman/Byzantine era primitive gold jewelry which was one of Chanel's many influences. Asymmetric design with a large drop and chains on either end terminating in a large spring ring clasp. Circa 1970. Marked CHANEL in block letters. I am also listing the matching earrings. Probably designed by Robert Goossens. The sections are curved slightly to conform to the body. About 17 inches wearable length. The center drops 4 inches. Excellent condition.
