| Lovely unusual early sautoir drop necklace, Chinese, with carved bone beads and a pendant carved with a bird and flowers motif with soft painted detail, all on an intricately braided cord made of many different colors of threads. The pendant is two sided. The beads are spaced along the cord and held in place by the way the cord is woven. Circa 1910 to 1920. Wearable length is 26 inches. The center drops 3 inches. The beads range in size from 7mm to 12mm. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail. | ||||||||||
