Huge 1930s Style Mexican Silver Openwork Necklace
Very big weighty and substantial Mexican sterling silver necklace made in the style of early 1930s Taxco silver jewelry. With traditional pre-Columbian style motifs in openwork incised large dimensional links, and large applied silver hemispheric beads on spacer links. With hidden slide clasp. Circa 1990. Marked 925, TP-110, and MEXICO. Very weighty and substantial at 243 grams. 17 1/2 inches wearable length. 1 1/8 inches wide. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
