1990 Deanna Hamro Blue Gripoix Glass Goldtone Necklace

Gorgeous dramatic long tasselled barbaric style necklace with large cobalt blue poured glass beads knotted along a black leather strand, with a long tassel of matching blue faceted glass beads with tiny goldtone metal ornate drops with tiny glass stones. The tassel is surmounted by a faux amber bead and a large goldtone sculpted cast metal element. The tie closure has matching large blue beads and goldtone metal elements. Marked DEANNA HAMRO on an attached metal hang tag. Deanna Hamro is an American designer who made costume jewelry in the 1980s and early 1990s using French couture style and materials. She is no longer making costume jewelry but has moved to fine jewelry. 34 inches wearable length. The tassel drops 5 3/4 inches. Excellent condition. Display form is lifesize.
