Very beautiful antique Austro Hungarian necklace in Renaissance Revival style, made between 1900 and 1920. Very detailed and ornate in a silver plated dark goldtone metal, with bezel set flat round mother of pearl stones, tiny faux pearls, and large and small green and pink stones which are probably glass. With two spring ring clasps. With an oval centerpiece, five drops, and a chain of linked matching elements. The metal is solid and cast and the piece is weighty for its size. 16 3/4 inches wearable length and the center drops 2 inches. Excellent condition. Some overall age related loss to the silver plating. The last green stone at the end on the right has a loss at the edge; pictured but not noticeable in person. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
