Vintage sterling articulated necklace with a detachable matching pendant with cabochon cut genuine amethyst stones. Circa 1955. A studio piece, not marked or signed but tests positive for sterling silver. With a hook clasp. The color of the stones is a bit warmer than the photos depict. Very versatile and wearable and an excellent length. The necklace is 17 inches long clasped by 1/2 inch wide. The length can be adjusted by hooking anywhere along the necklace links. The pendant is 3 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. |
