Stunning antique 14KT gold hinged bangle in Etruscan revival style. Late 19th century. Not marked but tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid, and it looks
as though it has a wash of higher karat gold. Substantial at 33 grams. With beautiful dimensional decoration. Slide clasp and safety chain. 3/4 inch wide by 7/16 inch deep at center front and 6 1/8 inches inside circumference. Excellent condition. Clasp is tight. There are two very small indents on the outside back and a few tiny flea bite indents inside one side; these do not show when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail. |
