Offered is a rare modernist Tiger Eye bracelet by award winning designer Erika Corral who studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris. She worked with Enrique Ledesma and Sigi Pineda before opening her own workshop in Taxco Mexico. This bracelet is comprised of links each topped with a bezel set tiger eye stone. It measures 1 inch at its widest and 7 inches in wearable length. It is in excellent condition and is marked as shown.
Offered is a vintage Taxco necklace by Maestro Salvador Vaca Teran From 1955-1960. This necklace matches the Bracelet shown on page 132 of Spratling and the Mexico Silver Renaissance by Penny Morrill and is known as Man with Bow. The necklace measures 14” in length with the center pendant measuring 1 ¾ high by 1 ½ wide. The pendant may also be worn as a brooch. Offered is a pair of Modernist sterling silver and rosewood cufflinks by Taxco, silversmith, Beto, circa 1948. The half barrel cufflinks with rosewood inlay and toggle style clasps are 13/16" x 1/2"and in excellent condition showing only minor signs of age appropriate wear.
