The design of the clock is based on Hans Hilfiker’s acclaimed 1944 clock design for Swiss railway station clocks. Offered is fully functioning battery operated vintage seven jewel German desk clock manufactured by Kienzle in the 1950’s. The clock features a seven jewel movement, a glass covered brass case, brushed aluminum dial with large applied aluminum indices, brass feet, and gilded metal hands. The clock keeps excellent time, measures 7 1/8 “ x 6 7/8”, and is in very good to excellent vintage condition showing only significant wear to the back (see photos)...
