Offered is a a pair of cantilevered Model 406 “Pension” armchairs designed by Alvar Aalto in 1937 and manufactured by Artek in Finland circa 1970. The chairs are in excellent restored condition and made of laminated ash with a nylon webbing. They are 34"h, 24"w, 28"d.
Offered is a beautiful bleached mahogany double pedestal desk attributed to Paul Frankl for Brown Saltman.
The piece dates from the late 1940s to early 1950s and features a floating kidney shape top with two side drawers. It is in excellent condition showing minor traces of use.
