The Boby Trolley is the best-selling storage container ever created. No wonder it is included in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent modern design collection. This gray Boby with three drawers dates and three casters from the 1970s is made of heavy duty ABS plastic, metal, and stainless steel. The Cart is 29 "H x 16" W x 16 ¾ " D; the drawers are 2 ¼ " H x 10 3/8" W X 12" L. The cart is very good to excellent vintage with no breaks or repairs. During his brief but brilliant career, Joe Colombo produced a series of innovations which made him one of Italy's most influential Italian product designers. Colombo’s designs, which were intended for "the environment of the future", embody the hope of the Sixties without modernist ideological constraint. Designed by Colombo and launched in 1970, the Boby Cart is a mobile storage unit that emphasizes functionality with pop art panache.
