Yuzuru (b. 1949) has been dazzling Japan with his unique Tenmoku wares for more than a quarter century. He has been often displayed at the Nihon Dento Kogei Ten (National Traditional Crafts Exhibiiton). His mentor Morikazu said of him, “Of all my students he most understood the magic of Tetsuyu Tenmoku”. Since 1996 he has had more than 30 private exhibtions with Takashimaya, one of Japan’s premier Department Stores.
