|An outrageous and playful teapot of flower petal design by Matsuda Yuriko enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Bursting with vitality and joy, each petal is shaped in the clay and uniquely colored. The pot is capped with a large red handle reminiscent of cocks comb with a large golden handle. It is 11 inches (26 cm) from handle to spout, the body 9 inches (18cm) Diameter, and 8 inches (17 cm) to the top of the lid handle. In perfect condition. Yuriko is an avid exhibitor, it is a wonder she has time to do any work at all. Both within Japan (Nihon Togei Ten, Gendai Togei Ten etc.) and without she has an impressive list of exhibitions in a host of countries. She received the Yagi Kazuo prize in 1986 among many others.
