An Ash crusted bottle with lid by Mito Yasuo exhibited at Gallery Enju in 2005 enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Futa-tsuki Bin (Lidded Bottle). It comes with the original exhibition invitation from 2005. 6-1/2 inches (16..5 cm) diameter, roughly the same height, and in fine condition. Mito Yasuo was born in Tokyo in 1949, and completed graduate studies in Buddhist history at Otani University in Kyoto in 1976. He did not begin potting until 1989, when he started a small workshop in the grounds of Daijoji Temple in East Osaka. In 1996 he established another kiln in Genkoji, in Kizugawa, and in 2001 set up an anagama in Tottori.
