| Smooth translucent green covers the perfect form of this huge receptacle by Sakai Yoshito enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The vase is 20 inches (30 cm) diameter, 10.5 inches (26.5 cm) tall and in perfect condition. Yoshito has displayed and been awarded at the Issuikai (receiving the Issuikai prize among others), Nihon Togei Ten (National Ceramics Exhibition) Nihon Dento Kogei Ten (Traditional Japanese Arts and Crafts Exhibition) and the Nitten (receiving the Mombudaijin Prize). This vase dates circa 1985. | ||||||||||
