| You are looking at a beautiful pair of Mid-Century Italian Murano Glass fruit shaped bookends. The size is larger than usually seen and they make eye catching display pieces. Design and manufacture are by Alfredo Barbini and an identical set with green core is pictured in a Weil Glass & Ceramic sales catalog in my collection. A copy of the catalog page will accompany the purchase and a photo is provided for reference. Measurements are 7” (18 cm) height, 13.5” (34 cm) circumference for the Pear and 5” (13 cm) height, 14” (35.5 cm) circumference for the Apple. Total weight a little less than 8 lbs. The glass is in pristine condition, without any scratches, chips or other signs of wear including the base and polished sides. Domestic shipping, handling, insurance $30.
