| Magnificent beaker style vase in mottled green color, designed and manufactured by Barovier & Toso. It is part of the “Cordonato D’ Oro” Series which was first exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1950. Reference on the design can be found in many Italian Glass publications, such as Marina Baroviers book “The Art of the Barovier Glassmakers “ and Leslie Pinas book “Century20”. Measurements are 11.25” (28.5 cm) height, 19.25” (49 cm) circumference and 5.5” X 6.5” (13 cm X 16 cm) across ovoid opening. The glass is in pristine condition, without any signs of damage, repair or age wear and the base is engraved with the “Barovier & Toso Murano” signature.
