| Lovely, vintage Italian Murano Glass bird figurines designed and manufactured by Barovier & Toso as part of the "Cordonato D’ Oro" Series in mid 1950. Figural pieces are seldom seen and the birds are a rare find as a matching pair. The ribbed structure and delicate gold fleck pattern speak of superb craftsmanship and the pair will make a beautiful and valuable addition to any Italian Art Glass collection. Both birds have almost identical dimension with one being a bit more round than the other. Height 3.25" (8 cm), 4.75" (12 cm) length, 2.25” (5.5 cm) width. The glass is in pristine condition, without any signs of damage, repair or age wear. Both birds are engraved at the base with script signature " Barovier & Toso Murano".
