| Early Italian Murano Glass trinket dish or candy bowl, manufactured by Seguso Vetri D’Arte in the late 1940’s. The glass was skillfully infused with a frothy bubble pattern and delicate gold fleck applications and the design was called “Bollicine D’ Oro”. It is very similar to works of Carlo Scarpa which were produced by Venini and the manufacture is of equal quality. Based on my reference books, the label attached was introduced in 1948 and works were signed with serial numbers starting in 1937 with “3500” and “14200” as the last number upon closure of the Seguso Vetri D’ Arte Factory in 1969. Copies of the reference material will be provided to authenticate the design. Measurements are 3.75” (9.5 cm) across opening and 2.75” (7 cm) rim height. The glass is in pristine condition, without any signs of damage, repair or signs of use. Questions or requests for additional photos are very welcome. Domestic shipping, handling and insurance charges are $15. International buyers are welcome and postage will be calculated upon request in advance. | ||
