| Beautiful European Art Deco Figural Perfume Lamp. Estimated manufacturing date 1920 – 1935 with French or German origin. The seminude design is rather unusual and I believe the young woman is meant to resemble a Roman or Egyptian Temple Priestess. Dimensions are 8.5" (21.5 cm) height and 5" (13 cm) width. The porcelain is in excellent, undamaged condition and there is only minor wear on the gilding as pictured. The base has an impressed three digit model number which confirms early manufacture and reference on similar perfume lamps can be found in a 1993 Ader Tajan auction catalog which features an important ensemble of Art Deco ceramics.
