| Early Italian Murano Glass Sea Form Glass Sculptured Bowl by Ercole Barovier. It is part of the "Grosse Costolature" Series which was first introduced by Ercole Barovier in 1942. The design is well documented and reference can be found in Marina Baroviers book "Art of The Barovier". Dimensions are 6.5" (16.5 cm) across opening with 3.75" (9.5 cm) rim height. The glass is in excellent condition without any signs of damage or use and the base displays moderate table wear according to age. My camera was not able to capture the beautiful iridescence accurately and any dark spots are reflection of the light. Reference material will be provided with the purchase.
