| This beautiful “Maggie Honored” matted lithograph edition 28 of 250 by Michele Gauthier is signed by the artist and created in 1990. The writing on the bottom: “ Maggie Honored” When this matriarch died in 1990, I was moved to honor her and all the irreplaceable old ones who have gone to the Setting Sun. They spoke the language, they knew secret things, they had parents who wore moccasins and believed many forgotten things. They had skills, which are being post with them. It saddens me and I hope that those around Maggie asked her what she knew, what she remembered. I hope they listened…. Frame is 16 inch by 13 inch. Print is 9 3/4 inch by 7 1/2 inch. | ||
