Navajo Silver Dress Ornaments Set of 4 ca. 1930s
These sets were normally fastened at intervals along the lateral margins of those wrap-around, homespun garments wich, in later years, were worn principally on ceremonial occasions. Repousse has been extensively employed in the 4 dress ornaments and decorated with stamp designs common of this time period. Dress Ornaments are 1 7/8 inches long and 1 inch wide. Each has two copper wire loops on the back for fastening on a garment.
