| Outstanding contemporary jeweler Brett W. Bastien from Santa Fe, New Mexico handcrafted these beautiful Natural Blue Bird Turquoise, Nevada, sterling silver earrings. Turquoise stones are hand cut by the artist. He is one of the few Anglo artisans to study at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA). He studied under Famous silversmith Danny Romero, Duane Maktima and Otellie Pasaveva Loloma. The earrings are stamped with the maker’s initials, BWB and sterling. Earrings have hand made wires and are 21/2 inches long, not including wire, and 1 inch wide. Weight of each earring is 9 grams, so they are very comfortable to wear. His Hallmark is published in the new book” The Little Book of Marks on SOUTHWESTERN SILVER” by Bille Hougart on page 44. | ||
