Zuni or Navajo Cluster Turquoise Bracelet 1950s-60s
What a beautiful Zuni made sterling silver turquoise cluster bracelet. No hallmark, but not unusual for the age. Turquoise stones are set into sterling saw tooth bezels and show some black matrix, also known as mother stone. The clusters are decorated on the outside with hand made silver balls, hand twisted silver wires, and the two clusters on the side have each a silver repousse piece added. A total of 56 cut teardrop turquoise stones and 6 round cut turquoise stones and a large oval center stone. Inside measurements from opening to opening are 5 ¾ inches. Gap between the openings is 1 1/8 inches. Center cluster is 2 3/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches. The two side clusters are 1-½ inches by 1 inch. Weight is 2.45 oz. or 69 grams.
