This color aquatint by Luigi Kasimir measures 17 3/4 x 15 inches, pencil signed, plated dated 1925, cat: Lorenz-5. Kasimir studied at the Vienna Academy of Art, although much of his etching technique was self taught and learned through working from nature. He specialized in atmospheric images of architecture, city scenes and landscapes; some bustling with people and automobiles, others quite timeless and serene.

Luigi Lucioni, Italian-American, 1900-1988, "Vermont Splendor". This Vermont landscape by the American artist Luigi Lucioni measures 6 1/4 x 10 7/8 inches, pencil signed, 1944, edition of 250. Lucioni was known for his remarkably detailed etchings of the New England landscape that he could bring to life and gained worldwide attention as one of the great Regionalist artists.

Manuel Robbe, French, 1872-1936, "Claudine," colored etching and aquatint, plate measures 12 x 9 3/4 inches on 24 x 17 3/8 inch arches laid type paper. Print 26 in an edition of 65. C. 1903. Published by Sagot, Paris. Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and the Ecole des Beaux Artes, becoming a master of the aquatint medium. He developed much of his own aquatint techniques, which enabled him to create his uniquely painterly, richly colored images.

One of the leading French artists of the ‘Belle Epoch,’ Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and the Ecole des Beaux Artes, becoming a master of the aquatint medium. Martin Lewis 1881-1962 American This is an original etching and aquatint by American artist Martin Lewis. The title is: The Boss of the Block, created and printed in 1939 in an edition of 212 impressions. This pencil signed impression has an image size of 11 1/2X7 1/2 inches.
