Ronau William Woiceske, American, 1887-1953, "Evening Glow," Oil on canvas, 24 x 30 inches, 1944, signed l.r, in the original frame, with label. Woiceske was born in Bloomington Illinois and studied art with Birge Harrison and John Carlson. He became quite well known for his etchings and paintings of snow covered landscapes. Woiceske was a member of the Philadelphia Print Club, the National Association of Etchers, and the Woodstock Artist's Association.

William Preston Phelps, American, 1849-1923, "springtime, Chesham, NH," oil on canvas, 18 x 24 inches, c. 1890, signed "WP Phelps", in a period gilt frame. Phelps was known as the "Painter of Monadnock." He lived most of his life in Dublin, NH, with the exception of several years he spent studying art in Europe. Max Weyl, German-American, 1837 - 1914, "Autumn in Virginia," oil on canvas, image size 21 x 26 1/2 inches, ornate period gilt frame, signed l.l. "Max Weyl". Born in Germany but brought to the US as a child, Weyl became one of the most popular landscape painters of the Washington D.C. area.
