Jean Emile Laboureur, French, 1887-1943, "La Promenade Sur Le Port". This 1935 line-engraving and etching, published by The Print Club of Cleveland, measures 7 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches and is pencil signed. Cleveland Print Club label with artist provenance included. Laboureur studied at the Academie Julian under Auguste Lepere before traveling extensively throughout Germany, Italy and Greece. He returned to Paris in 1910, just when Cubism was being explored, and fully embraced it, incorporating it into his distinct style.
