This etching by the Czech artist, Tavik F. Simon, measures 7 3/4 x 4 5/8 inches, pencil signed, 1914, cat: Novak-229, in an edition of 150. Simon studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and traveled extensively throughout Europe, as well as Asia and the U.S. He lived in Paris from 1905-1913, then returned to Prague to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts.
