This original drypoint by the American artist Alfred Hutty measures 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches, pencil signed, edition of 200, 1944, published exclusively for members of the Miniature Print Society, in its original folder. Hutty was a well-known Charleston artist studying under DuBose Heyward and John Bennett. Known for his local scenes of the Charleston landscape he became a founding member of the Charleston Etchers Club. His work has been exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; Art Institute of Chicago; Detroit Institute of Arts and the Chicago Society of Etchers.
