Height: 7.6 cm (3.1 in) Handle to Spout: 13 cm (5.2 in) Diameter: 8.3 cm (3.5 in) This teapot is of very fine quality showing two panels of people set in rural scenes. The diaper work across the remainder of the pot shows extraordinary enamel work. Heavy gilding and bright enamels are used in unusual geometric and flowing patterns. Panels of butterflies, irises and tiny cranes in flight, highlight the piece. This teapot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The mark is worn on the base. |
