Height: 10 cm (4 in) Width: 6.5 cm (2.7 in) An exquisite pair of raised cloisonne humidors / tea cannisters / scholar's boxes decorated with precious objects and items for the scholar's table. The bases are also decorated with black flora on a Jin Tai blue ground. The condition of this pair of boxes is very good. There is a little matched blue wax restoration inside the lid of one. The gilding is slightly worn to parts of the metal ground and there is only one minor loss to the enamel. |
