Height: 3.4 cm (1.3 in) Width: 3.5 cm (1.4 in) This small Chinese cloisonne pot has fine wire-work depicting a series of lotus flowers amongst scroll work. This is repeated around the pot and the lid. There is a Shou character on the centre top of the lid. Under loop magnification, some wires seem to have a longitudinal crack indicating good age. This piece is in very good condition but does show some aged pitting in areas. There is a small amount of enamel missing inside the lid. |
